ABOUT THE SURF CAMP

We are within a three-minute walking distance of Playa Guiones, one of Nosara’s most popular beaches, known for its great surfing and stunning sunsets.

Both Jungle Houses and the Sunset House are dedicated for families and we come with a private pool and a dedicated open living room, kitchen and outdoor area. We can organize babysitting services and several activities for children. We have a crib for babies and up to 2 extra beds for adults or children.

Our Residence offers a variety of accommodations including spacious studios and private villas with 2 or 3 bedrooms, all equipped with modern amenities and designed to complement the natural beauty of Nosara. Both Jungle Houses and the Sunset House offer a private pool, the Jacuzzi Residence offer a private whirlpool.

We can arrange private yoga classes and surf lessons for individuals and families led by experienced instructors. There are also several outstanding yoga studios in the area and the town is known for its wellness-focused community.

Our concierge can help you arrange surf lessons, yoga retreats, eco-tours, and excursions to local attractions such as the Nosara Biological Reserve or the nearby waterfalls.

Characterization of surroundings/region

Where barefoot luxury meets nature

In the heart of North Guiones, QUIN Surf Residence offers sweeping views of the jungle, close to all the action but sheltered from street noise and traffic. The ocean is practically at your door, just a three minute walk away. A wide range of restaurants, shops and yoga spots within a five minute walk.
The dry season from December to April is the most popular time to visit due to the warm, sunny weather. However, the green season (May to November) offers fewer crowds, lush landscapes, beautiful sunsets with some rainy days and lower prices.

Nosara is nestled on the Nicoya Peninsula, as is famous for being one of only 5 Blue Zones in the world.
These Blue Zones are where people live longer and happier lives than anywhere else on earth because of the healthy, peaceful and spiritual lifestyles they offer. The five pillars of life in the Blue Zone are community, access to nature, spirituality, healthy eating and an active lifestyle.

Nosara is famous for its surfing, yoga retreats and wildlife tours. You can also enjoy catamaran, mountain biking, snorkeling, mangrove boat tours, ATV tours, seasonal turtle watching at nearby Playa Ostional and more.

Ways to get to the camp

The nearest major airport is Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) in Liberia, about 2.5 hours away by car. We can arrange private shuttles or car rentals, or you can take a local flight from Liberia or San José to the Nosara airstrip.
