ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
Kite Lab is located on the sea side of the Lo Stagnone Lagoon, we organize the kitesurfing lessons just 50m from our school. We mainly have thermal wind in summer, which is very stable and consistent. We also have very good wind statistic with over 80% days of wind in summer.
CAMP CHARACTER
All the profile are welcome at our camp, Families will enjoy the surrounding of the spot as there are many things to do/see, and young people will also enjoy the parties organized directly at the beach.
CAMP OPERATOR
César And Magda created Kite Lab in 2018, they will be your hosts and in charge of organizing your trip to make sure you have everything you need.
ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING
ACCOMMODATION TYPES
Most of our guests stay at the resort Santa Maria, which is located 50m from the kiteschool. The hotel has a swimming pool, offers rooms or apartments with kitchen, and prepare a very good breakfast with local products. All the rooms have A/C and Wifi.
CATERING
The hotel provides Half board and full board formula, but this is not mandatory. There are many restaurants around the hotel as well.
SURF COURSE AND ACTIVITIES
SURF COURSE DETAILS
Kitesurfing lessons can be individual (1 instructor for 1 student) or semi private (1 instructor for 2 students). in any case we use walkie-talkie, and the lessons can be done in French, English or Polish languages.
SURF MATERIALS
All the equipment is provided by the school, we use Duotone 2025 collection. You just need to bring a Lycra, sunglasses and sunscreen.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
In case of not enough wind to go kitesurfing, trips are organised to discover West Sicily: Boat trips to Egadi Islands, beach activities, temples sight seeing etc...

SURF CONDITIONS
Breaks directly at the main spot and at nearby spots
The main lagoon is our teaching zone, it is very wide (4km) and the water is shallow everywhere, which makes this spot perfectly adapted for beginners.
Seasonal conditions
We use light wetsuits in May and October, between those months the water is warm enough to go in the water without wetsuits.
Crowd factor and local people
The spot can be a little crowded in high season, but there is a lot of space, we just need to go a little further to do our lessons.
SURROUNDINGS / REGION
Characterization of surroundings/region
The spot is located between the towns of Marsala and Trapani, in a rural area. It is recommend to have a rental car to explore the region between the camp activities.

At the spot you will find our chilling zone, some nice cocktail bars and very tasty Italian restaurants.

In case you don't want to rent a car at the airport, we provide transfer service from the airport to the hotel.
