You can use the shared kitchen, spend time in the cozy lounge, or watch Sagres’ stunning sunsets from our rooftop terrace.
For work, we have a separate office building with ergonomic desks, standing tables, and fast, reliable internet. There’s a meeting room for up to eight people and two small breakout rooms for two people each, giving you plenty of space to stay productive.
Once you’re done with work, enjoy the nearby beach, meet other travelers, go surfing, or try one of many other activities. Whether you come with friends or make new ones here, Sagres is the perfect place to work and relax.

ABOUT THE SURF CAMP
LOCATION AND SURF CONDITIONS
Our villa is located in a quiet neighbourhood in the heart of Sagres, close to stunning landscapes, dramatic cliffs, and the crystal-clear waters of the Algarve coast.
You can reach different beaches, surf spots or Sagres town center within a 5 to 10-minute walk.
CAMP CHARACTER
Off The Hook is a coworking accommodation which means we have a relaxed atmosphere and no party crowd in our house. People from all over the world live, surf and work together.
CAMP OPERATOR
The old Portuguese villa was completely renovated and „Off The Hook“ as we know it now officially opened its doors in 2022. The owner is a surfer who wanted to make sure you have the perfect conditions to work and to be able to use your free time for surfing while interacting with like-minded people. The house is equipped with space for your surf gear and is only a few minutes away from different spots. A host is staying in the house with the guests and surf lessons can be organised with a local surf school.
ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING
ACCOMMODATION TYPES
The villa has three studios, each with its own kitchenette. Additionally there are five rooms that are available for one or two people and share a spacious kitchen. Guests can enjoy their meals at the large table in the living room, or at one of the many tables in the courtyard or on the rooftop terrace. Every room or studio has a private bathroom and workspace.
If you want to seperate your work from your personal life, you can use the free-standing office building providing a quiet and professional environment. The property has fast WiFi, so you can stay connected while enjoying the calm and beauty of this coastal spot.
CATERING
Off The Hook is a self-catering accommodation. You can choose between studios with kitchenettes or rooms in the main house with access to a spacious shared kitchen.
If you prefer to eat out, there is a lot of restaurants in walking distance.

Our fantastic location offers us the possibility to surf only 5 minutes away or at many other different spots at the South and at the West coast of Portugal. This wide range of surf spots provides best conditions for beginners, intermediates and advanced surfers.

It is possible to surf all year round in the Algarve. The many different bays offer best conditons for all surf levels all year round.

Ways to get to the camp
The nearest airport to Sagres is Faro International Airport, which is about 120 km away, approximately a 1.5 hour drive. There are flights to Faro from many major cities across Europe. From Faro, you can take a bus or rent a car to reach Sagres.
The closest train station to Sagres is in Lagos, about 35 km away. You can also take a bus from Faro to Lagos, then another bus or taxi to Sagres.
